His fun-loving, foolhardy incongruity covers a brilliant mind always extemporizing and re-evaluating. As such, he has been responsible for heists no right-minded individual would believe possible. Daisuke Jigen ( 次元 大介, Jigen Daisuke) is a smooth gunman who is most seen accompanying Lupin in his endeavors and heists. Despite Jigen disliking Lupin's lust for women, to the end he remains Lupin's loyal and reliable partner. Jigen is master thief Arsène Lupin III's right-hand man and sharpshooter. He can perform a 0.3-second quick-draw, providing accuracy that borders on superhuman. Despite Jigen's gruff facade, he has an ironic sense of humor and genuinely enjoys participating in each caper with his partners. He is, by far, the more pragmatic of the group. Goemon Ishikawa XIII (十三代目 石川 五ェ門 or 十三代目 石川 五ヱ門, Jūsan-daime Ishikawa Goemon) is the thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, a descendant of the historical figure Ishikawa Goemon. He is usually quiet and participates in Lupin III's exploits less frequently than Jigen. Using his trademark Zantetsuken sword, he has the ability to cut through virtually any substance, even steel girders, automobiles, and multi-storied buildings. Koichi Zenigata ( 銭形 幸一, Zenigata Kōichi) is an incredibly talented, yet often bumbling police officer who has made it his life's goal to capture Lupin III. The other members of Lupin's gang are targeted for apprehension as well, but Zenigata usually ignores them when Lupin himself is present. Lupin and Zenigata appear to be the worst of enemies, but in the anime they are, in a manner of speaking, friends; something Lupin shows openly (often by greeting Zenigata with mock affection), but it is an idea Zenigata is extremely reluctant to entertain. Fujiko Mine (峰 不二子, Mine Fujiko) She is a professional criminal and burglar that regularly uses her attractiveness to fool her targets. She routinely makes deals with Koichi Zenigata or Lupin's current enemy in an attempt to gain freedom or loot, which causes Jigen and Goemon to distrust her, since they know that she will obviously double-cross them in a heist to claim what they're after for herself.
